Head of Family Finance – Senior Family Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Family Finance to lead our Family Law Department in London. This senior leadership position offers the opportunity to shape strategy, influence the firm’s success and build a recognised profile in family finance law while managing a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of family law solicitors, fostering a culture of excellence and wellbeing.
• Define and implement departmental strategy and business development initiatives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance management for the family finance practice.
• Deliver exceptional client service in complex family and children matters.
• Represent the firm in high‑value negotiations and court proceedings.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with at least 10 years of experience in family and children law.
• Demonstrated track record of leading legal teams and driving business growth.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting and performance management.
• Experience working with East End client communities is preferred.
• Commitment to staff development and wellbeing.
