Head of Finance – Property Sector (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are partnering with a large property company to find a Head of Finance based in London. The role is hybrid and will lead an operational accounting team, driving accurate reporting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Champion continuous‑improvement initiatives, using technology and automation to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to optimise end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
• Design and implement strategies to maximise cash collection and minimise bad‑debt exposure.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, contractual obligations and internal policies.
• Support internal and external audits, maintaining strong internal controls and documentation.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA.
• Proven experience in client accounting and managing a finance team.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, especially with senior leaders.
