Head of Leadership and Management Training

About the role

The Head of Leadership and Management Training will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of learning programmes for managers and leaders across the Trust. This role supports the NHS strategic workforce objective of providing an outstanding staff experience and fostering inclusive, compassionate leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement leadership and management training curricula aligned with Trust values of compassion, excellence and collaboration.
• Deliver face‑to‑face and blended learning sessions for current and emerging leaders.
• Assess training effectiveness through feedback, metrics and continuous improvement cycles.
• Partner with senior managers to identify learning needs and tailor programmes accordingly.
• Ensure training delivery is inclusive and supports work‑life balance initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering leadership or management development programmes.
• Strong understanding of NHS culture, values and workforce priorities.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders.
