Head of Procurement

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Procurement to report directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The role will provide strategic oversight of all procurement, contract management and third‑party relationships, ensuring the firm’s purchasing activities are cost‑effective, compliant and aligned with business priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, embed and continuously improve procurement strategy, policies, procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate procurement frameworks and manage change.
• Conduct market research, evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor supplier performance, set KPIs and address non‑compliance.
• Audit existing contracts, initiate retendering where needed and manage risk across all procurement activities.
• Implement value‑creation initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technology to foster innovation.
• Lead and develop the Procurement team, promoting the firm’s values.

Required profile

• Proven senior procurement leadership experience, preferably in a professional services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across multiple departments.
• Demonstrated ability to design and execute strategic procurement initiatives.
• Excellent risk‑management and contract‑governance capabilities.
• Leadership experience with a focus on team development and cultural alignment.
