Head of Production

About the role

The Head of Production will set and drive the production strategy for The Fellas Studios, overseeing podcasts, digital video, and branded projects. Reporting to senior leadership, this senior role ensures high‑quality, scalable content that aligns with creative and commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the production strategy across all in‑house podcasts, digital content and branded initiatives.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end production lifecycle, guaranteeing consistent, on‑time delivery at scale.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing production team including producers, editors and designers.
• Establish efficient team structures, workflows and processes to maximise scalability.
• Set production standards and quality benchmarks for all output.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on content slate and production roadmap.
• Lead branded content creation and manage commercial partnerships.
• Own production budgets, resource allocation and ROI optimisation.
• Implement continuous‑improvement systems, leveraging new tools and technologies.
• Maintain studio infrastructure and ensure future‑proof technical capabilities.
• Use performance data and audience insights to guide production decisions.
• Represent production in high‑level discussions with partners, talent and brands.

Required profile

• Proven senior production leadership experience (Head of Production, Senior Production Manager or equivalent) in a studio, media or digital content environment.
• 6‑8+ years of digital video production experience, including podcasts, YouTube and multi‑platform content.
• Strong leadership and team‑building track record, with ability to scale high‑performing teams.
• Exceptional organisational and operational skills, capable of managing multiple productions simultaneously.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and optimising production workflows and systems at scale.
• Commercial awareness with experience delivering branded content and managing partnerships.
