Head of Quality – Manufacturing

About the role

The Head of Quality (Manufacturing) will lead the UK quality function for a £100 million turnover manufacturer. This senior position combines strategic management with hands‑on involvement, covering a primary local site and travelling to other UK and international locations as required. Reporting directly to the UK Head of Operations, you will influence the company’s growth and quality performance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the UK Quality Management System (QMS).
• Handle supplier root cause analyses (RCAs) and related reporting.
• Prepare and manage the annual quality budget.
• Train line managers on quality procedures and standards.
• Travel to UK and overseas sites to support quality initiatives.
• Provide regular quality performance reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager, Head of Quality or similar in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in supplier management, RCA and cost analysis.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence cross‑functional teams.
