Head of Savings, Wealth and Payments

About the role

Atom Bank is looking for a senior leader to shape its Savings, Wealth and Payments propositions. You will set strategy, drive product design and ensure regulatory compliance across these core areas.

Key responsibilities

• Develop long‑term strategic plans and short‑term roadmaps for Savings, Wealth and Payments products.
• Lead the product proposition team, collaborating with Finance, Risk, Operations and Technology to deliver market‑leading solutions.
• Manage pricing, financial performance and customer journey optimisation for all propositions.
• Oversee payments governance, represent Atom in industry forums and act as Senior Payments Executive for Faster Payments and Bacs.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory, compliance and conduct risk, ensuring fit‑and‑proper status under the certification regime.

Required profile

• Significant experience in proposition or product management within retail banking, especially Savings and Wealth.
• Proven ability to conduct customer research and translate insight into product strategy.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory and market developments in the UK financial sector.
• Strong numeracy, commercial acumen and stakeholder influencing skills.
