Head of Social Growth and Content

About the role

Beauty Pie is seeking a strategic leader who can turn its disruptive beauty‑buyer’s club proposition into compelling, platform‑native content. This senior role sits at the crossroads of brand creativity, culture and growth, driving conversation, sharing and commercial results across social channels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop “idea nuggets” from product insights, pricing, ingredient stories, founder POVs and industry economics.
• Translate these concepts into short‑form video and social‑first content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and emerging platforms.
• Test hooks, edits, captions, pacing and formats to determine the best‑performing storytelling approach per channel.
• Brief creators, editors and designers; produce or edit content when needed.
• Publish quickly, iterate based on performance data, and amplify high‑performing pieces with paid spend.
• Build recurring content franchises and editorial formats that foster audience loyalty.
• Present insights, performance metrics and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Help design scalable systems and workflows for a fast‑moving social/content function.

Required profile

• Significant experience in social storytelling, editorial content, creative strategy or growth‑focused social media.
• Deep understanding of platform behaviour, creator culture and audience psychology.
• Strong editorial instincts and an obsession with hooks, pacing, retention and attention mechanics.
• Ability to think both creatively and commercially.
• Entrepreneurial energy and comfort moving quickly in a constantly evolving environment.

Required skills

• Fluency with social editing tools and analytics platforms.
