Head of Strategy

About the role

We are partnering with a global consumer brand to recruit a high‑calibre Head of Strategy for their London office. The role is hybrid and involves regular interaction with senior executives and the Board to shape long‑term strategic direction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end strategic workstreams from ideation through delivery.
• Develop high‑quality Board and Executive reporting materials, including storylines, synthesis, analysis and governance.
• Partner with Finance, Procurement and regional teams to define and refine strategy.
• Conduct rigorous analysis, simplify complexity and translate insights into clear narratives.
• Coach and develop junior team members through personal development plans.
• Present insights to senior stakeholders to support critical decision‑making.

Required profile

• Up to 10 years of experience in a leading consulting firm and/or corporate strategy within a consumer (FMCG, Retail, Hospitality) environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver best‑in‑class output and high‑impact Board materials.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling capability.
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
