Health Care Support Worker

About the role

The Health Care Support Worker will join the Medicine Division of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care. The role is open to candidates of all backgrounds, including those with protected characteristics and members of the Armed Forces Community.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the clinical team in delivering safe and compassionate care to patients.
• Support patients with daily living activities and ensure their comfort and wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow hygiene and infection‑control procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive, inclusive working environment.
