Health Records Clerk

About the role
The Health Records Clerk will join the Medical Records administration team at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. This role supports the delivery of accurate patient records, both paper‑based and electronic, within a supportive and welcoming environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the availability of patient paper‑based health records.
- Record and maintain accurate administrative details on the electronic patient record, including demographics and hospital activity.
- Provide support and guidance on patient records procedures and standards.
- Monitor, audit and rectify errors or missing data in patient records.
Required profile
- Excellent organisational skills, initiative and the ability to prioritise workload.
- Education to GCSE level (or equivalent).
Required skills
- Strong audio typing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook.
