Health & Safety Coach – 1 Year Fixed Term

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Health & Safety Coach to join Caterpillar’s Stockton fabrication facility on a one‑year fixed‑term contract. You will work closely with supervisors and operatives to embed a strong safety culture, support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and team coaching on HSE matters, delivering training and mentoring staff.
• Support Rapid Improvement Workshops, new equipment introductions and area relocations with hands‑on safety guidance.
• Assist supervisors in preparing risk assessments, conducting incident investigations and delivering training packages.
• Participate in Department Safety and Continuous Improvement meetings and contribute to safety‑related CI cards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in raising safety‑related continuous improvement cards and active participation in HSE meetings.
• Confidence to deliver training and coach employees across the site.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability to manage own workload and priorities.
• Preferred: NEBOSH or IOSH certification.
