Health, Safety & Environment Advisor – Severnside Dairy

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our Severnside Dairy site in Stonehouse. In this hands‑on position you will work closely with colleagues across the site to ensure compliance with legislation, promote best practice and foster a positive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance with HSE legislation and Müller policies.
• Conduct risk assessments, legal audits and internal HSE audits.
• Investigate incidents, manage corrective actions and close non‑conformances.
• Deliver HSE inductions and training to staff.
• Champion behavioural safety and engage colleagues in safety initiatives.
• Coordinate HSE programmes, track performance data and support external audits.
• Administer HSE systems, health‑surveillance schedules and act as deputy for the HSE Manager when required.

Required profile

• NEBOSH Certificate (essential).
• IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management (desirable).
• Experience conducting HSE audits.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage staff.
• Organised, solution‑focused and approachable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using SHE systems such as SharePoint.
• Familiarity with EcoOnline platform.
