About the role
Pearson is seeking a qualified Health & Social Care Examiner to mark BTEC Tech Awards candidates. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home while applying your subject expertise to ensure consistent assessment standards.
Key responsibilities
- Mark candidates' responses accurately and consistently using the pre‑defined mark scheme.
- Submit marking samples to the Team Leader at designated times.
- Adhere to marking milestones and deadlines.
- Complete all required administrative tasks as specified.
Required profile
- Minimum of one year full‑time teaching experience in the relevant subject.
- Hold a degree or equivalent qualification.
- Qualified teacher status.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- High level of subject knowledge to apply the mark scheme effectively.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ePEN or Learner Work Transfer for onscreen marking.
