Healthcare Service Driver – £12.81/hr, 40h/week

About the role

The Healthcare Service Driver role with PHS Group involves daily routes across the North West, collecting and safely handling healthcare waste while delivering hygiene products to commercial and medical customers. You will work a guaranteed 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday, with no scheduled weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a pre‑planned route to collect healthcare waste, including sharps and pharmaceutical waste.
• Service and replace hygiene products on customer premises.
• Complete digital and paper compliance documentation for each collection.
• Return to the depot each day to unload waste and prepare for the next route.
• Adhere to centrally planned schedules to ensure safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last five years.
• Availability to work within a 6 am – 6 pm window, 40 hours per week.
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
