About the role

Join the Savernake Inpatient team as a Healthcare Support Worker and play a vital part in delivering high‑quality, compassionate care to patients and their families. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a 24‑hour ward environment, with flexible shift options.

Key responsibilities

• Provide essential personal care and emotional support to patients.
• Assist with daily activities, including feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and record patient observations, such as vital signs.
• Support the collection of ECGs and perform phlebotomy when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in a care or support setting.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude.
• Willingness to develop additional clinical skills.
