HGV Class 1 Driver – Night Shift

About the role

We are recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers for our night‑shift transport team at the Booker Retail Partner site. The role offers fully funded CPC training, overtime opportunities and the chance to deliver stock safely to independent retailers across the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Perform night‑time deliveries of stock to independent retailer stores.
• Hand‑ball and manually load/unload goods, often in adverse weather conditions.
• Execute multi‑drop routes that may include temperature‑controlled food items.
• Adapt to daily route changes and work flexibly, including short‑notice shifts.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 licence holder.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Physical capability to handle manual loading and outdoor work.
• Flexibility to work varied hours on short notice.
