HGV Class 1 Trunking & Class 2 Radial Driver – Plymouth

About the role

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 Trunking and Class 2 Radial drivers for a well‑established logistics client in the Plymouth area. The role involves operating heavy goods vehicles on trunking routes or radial deliveries, with regular shifts and immediate assessments available.

Key responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 (CE) trucks on trunking routes or Class 2 (C) trucks on radial deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with drivers’ hours, road transport regulations and company policies.
• Complete weekly routes safely and efficiently, meeting delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph.
• Participate in regular assessments and adhere to health & safety standards.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points for speeding.
• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ability to pass a driving assessment.
• Minimum age 21 for insurance purposes.
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol testing.
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road transport regulations.
