HGV Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start

About the role

Our client, a national logistics operator, is seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers for home delivery routes based in Purfleet. The role starts immediately and involves full‑time, on‑road work from 6 am until the day's deliveries are completed.

Key responsibilities

• Perform home deliveries using a HGV Class 2 vehicle.
• Navigate routes with maps and digital tachograph equipment.
• Maintain compliance with EU driving regulations and company policies.
• Provide courteous service to customers on a daily basis.
• Complete a minimum of 8 hours of driving each day.

Required profile

• Full, valid UK driving licence with no more than six minor points.
• Valid Digital Tachograph (D/Tacho) and CPC certification.
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the delivery area.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work a full shift from early morning onward.
