HGV Class 2 Driver – Manchester

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join its team in Trafford Park, Manchester. You will be responsible for delivering chilled, frozen and ambient products to Costa Coffee stores, working within a 48‑hour weekly schedule on a 5‑on‑3‑off shift pattern.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver chilled, frozen and ambient goods to Costa Coffee stores (10‑15 drops per shift).
• Operate the HGV safely, legally and efficiently, complying with all road‑traffic and tachograph regulations.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic pre‑journey checks.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Category C entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the past five years.
• Previous experience driving Category C vehicles is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficient operation of a Digital Tachograph.
• Ability to plan routes and manage delivery schedules.
