About the role
We are seeking a qualified HGV Class 2 driver to join the temporary, ongoing team supporting Dorset Council in Shaftesbury. The role starts immediately after a brief induction and offers the chance to work regular morning shifts.
Key responsibilities
- Operate HGV vehicles safely to transport goods for the council.
- Follow scheduled routes and delivery times between 6 am and 2 pm (Mon‑Thu) and 6 am‑1:30 pm (Fri).
- Maintain accurate records using a digital tachograph.
- Collaborate with permanent staff to ensure reliable service.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital tachograph certification.
- Reliability and good attendance.

What we offer
