About the role
We are looking for a qualified HGV Class 2 driver to join our client’s tanker fleet based in Salisbury. The role involves transporting goods safely, maintaining the vehicle and liaising with customers on site.
Key responsibilities
- Perform daily safety checks, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of the vehicle and associated equipment.
- Undertake risk assessments for each site and job task.
- Liaise directly with customers and site contacts, recording work undertaken and any further actions required.
- Report near‑misses, accidents, vehicle or plant defects to supervisors promptly.
- Ensure compliance with driver hour regulations and complete all required paperwork.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with CPC card.
- Enthusiastic, customer‑facing attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time‑keeping skills.

What we offer
- Salary between £38,000 and £42,000 per year.
