HGV Driver – Deliver Roof Trusses

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated HGV Driver to join our team in Burton-upon-Trent. You will be responsible for transporting roof trusses to construction sites and builders’ merchants, ensuring safe and timely deliveries while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Secure loads and comply with highway laws while driving.
• Deliver roof trusses efficiently to designated sites within reasonable timeframes.
• Supervise the off‑loading of goods, either personally or with onsite personnel.
• Provide a polite, helpful, and professional service to customers, promoting a positive company image.

Required profile

• Class 2 (Category C) rigid licence with DQC card and full Driver CPC.
• Fork‑lift licence is an advantage.
• Hiab experience preferred but not essential.
• Excellent customer service skills and a flexible approach to manual off‑loading.
