HGV Nightshift Supervisor

About the role
HTC is seeking an experienced HGV Nightshift Supervisor to lead our Croydon workshop during the night shift. You will ensure smooth workshop operations, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and support both internal teams and external customers.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor job progress, review job cards and verify accurate timing for costing.
- Manage warranty and additional work procedures, ensuring proper documentation and customer authorisations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Supervise and support workshop staff, providing clear leadership.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and ensure compliance with Health & Safety and all legal standards.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years' experience in HGV and trailer maintenance.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
- Proactive, customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to work independently with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory role.
