HGV Technician

About the role

Join Veolia’s fleet maintenance team in Dover as an HGV Technician. You will keep a diverse fleet of over 100 heavy‑goods vehicles road‑ready, supporting essential services across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day servicing, MOT preparation and repairs on HGVs.
• Carry out routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, fault finding and corrective work.
• Maintain Veolia and third‑party fleet assets to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Complete all required paperwork and timesheets accurately.
• Attend roadside breakdowns when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician.
• NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent.
• Valid HGV driving licence.
• Willingness to upskill if semi‑skilled.
