HGV Technician – Rotating Shift – Banbury

About the role

Scania is seeking a dedicated HGV Technician to join its Banbury workshop. You will work on a rotating early/late shift pattern, providing servicing, maintenance and repairs on a range of heavy commercial vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on HGVs and related vehicle types.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Support the workshop team during peak periods and overtime as required.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or proven experience with HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicles.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including occasional Saturdays.
• Commitment to continuous learning and career progression.
