Hire Controller – Power Division

About the role

The Hire Controller will be the central point of contact for the Power division, ensuring customers receive a seamless hire experience from enquiry to delivery and collection. Based in the Tamworth depot, you will work closely with sales, stock, drivers and engineers to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full hire journey, from initial enquiry through to delivery and collection.
• Coordinate with stock teams, drivers and engineers to confirm equipment availability and readiness.
• Maintain accurate records of hire orders, deliveries and returns.
• Provide timely and professional communication with customers, addressing any issues that arise.
• Support the business unit in delivering the ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Required profile

• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• Confident written and verbal communication.
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
• Commitment to learning and development.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Previous experience in the hire industry or a similar sales/operational role.
