Hire & Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Hire & Sales Coordinator to join a busy, fast‑paced team. You will act as the main point of contact for major‑account customers, managing hire and sales enquiries from initial request through to completion while ensuring service level agreements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of customer hire and sales requirements from enquiry through to fulfilment.
• Manage multiple accounts, process quotations, contracts and orders accurately using company systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Source equipment and services, negotiate delivery schedules, rates and monitor ongoing projects.
• Handle enquiries, breakdown requests, off‑hires and service issues promptly.
• Produce accurate reports and account updates for managers and leadership.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in account management, customer service, sales support, hire control, coordination, logistics or administration.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with high accuracy.
• Strong commercial awareness, problem‑solving ability and a customer‑first attitude.
• Confidence using internal systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team, staying calm under pressure.
