Hospitality Area Manager - South West

About the role

Morrisons is recruiting a Hospitality Area Manager for its South West region, based at Hilmore House, Gain Lane, Bradford. You will lead a team of Café Managers and Team Leaders across up to 25 Morrisons cafés, driving improved KPIs and continuous improvement in operational, commercial and customer metrics. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, with a closing date of 18 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team of Café Managers and Team Leaders, from recruitment and training to coaching and performance improvement
• Oversee day-to-day scheduling of café teams and key KPIs such as sales, waste reduction, budget compliance, customer satisfaction and category execution
• Build and implement plans for up to six months, collaborating with central teams to simplify and improve how work is done
• Coach and develop Café Managers and Team Leaders so they act as role models
• Maintain strong relationships with regional teams, store management and central functions
• Use data and insights to shape the customer experience, improve sales and reduce complaints
• Identify improvement opportunities, including new hospitality concepts, menu launches and new store openings

Required profile

• Background in retail or hospitality, particularly in food-led environments
• Proven track record of driving operational success across multiple sites
• Experience leading and engaging teams remotely, building relationships across the business and influencing change

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of P&L and key retail metrics
• Excellent communication and IT skills
• Ability to identify patterns and opportunities through data analysis
