Hospitality Assistant – Flexible Part‑Time Role in Southampton

About the role

Join a dynamic agency team supporting one of the UK’s leading luxury department stores. As a Hospitality Assistant you will keep the back‑of‑house areas clean, safe and ready for fast‑paced service, while interacting with colleagues and customers in a premium environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitised kitchen areas, including surfaces, sinks, stoves and equipment.
• Sweep, mop and promptly address spills to ensure a safe workspace.
• Wash cookware, utensils and cutlery to keep service flowing.
• Manage waste and keep back‑of‑house areas tidy.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as peeling and chopping vegetables.

Required profile

• Organised, efficient and good at time management.
• Conscientious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Adaptable, positive and motivated in fast‑moving environments.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Willing to obtain or already hold a Level 1 Food & Hygiene Certificate.
