Host & Catering Assistant – Flexible Bank Role

About the role

Spire Little Aston Hospital is seeking a patient‑facing Host & Catering Assistant on a flexible bank basis. You will help deliver high‑quality meals and hospitality services to support a positive patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver meals and beverages to patients, adapting to individual needs.
• Provide a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Assist catering and housekeeping teams with daily duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels, reporting any issues.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient care.
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and infection‑control policies.

Required profile

• Previous hospitality or customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a proactive approach.
• Comfortable working in a patient‑facing environment.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training.
• Flexibility to work ad‑hoc shifts.
