Host – Hospitality Role in Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Host to join our team at Hallmark Luxury Care Homes in Court Colman, Wales. The Host plays a key part in creating a welcoming hospitality environment for residents, their families and visitors, ensuring dining and lounge areas are pleasant and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Greet residents and families warmly, offering refreshments and assistance with drinks while encouraging independence.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and lifestyles teams to keep the café and dining areas clean, tidy and ready for daily events and functions.
• Maintain health and safety standards, adhering to HACCP and food‑safety hygiene policies.
• Support residents during meals and social moments, ensuring a positive experience.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer‑service roles.
• Enthusiastic, confident communicator who enjoys interacting with residents.
• Team‑oriented with a strong sense of responsibility for cleanliness and safety.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic food‑safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP).
