Host / Receptionist – St James Building (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic Hosts to manage the North and South entrances of our St James building in Manchester City Centre. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (8 am‑5 pm), providing the first point of contact for tenants, visitors and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a positive customer experience throughout the building.
• Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors and clients.
• Facilitate new customer viewings to support the sales process.
• Manage workload between desk‑based tasks and relationship‑building activities.
• Collect and update customer intelligence in internal systems.
• Collaborate with colleagues, management and other Bruntwood departments.
• Promote workplace wellbeing and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills with a personable, human‑focused approach.
• Experience in hospitality, retail, or other service‑oriented sectors.
