Housekeeper – Care Home (30 hrs/week)

About the role

Join the dedicated team at Carter House Care Home in Raynes Park, London, providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. This part‑time position works 30 hours per week, primarily on weekends, and plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of the home.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and bathrooms to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Wash, press, and fold residents' personal clothing and bedding with meticulous attention to detail.
• Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning.
• Support the care team by maintaining a tidy and organised environment for residents and staff.

Required profile

• Proactive, friendly, and caring attitude towards residents and their families.
• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work weekends and follow a fixed shift schedule (08:00‑14:00).
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• Experience in housekeeping, domestic cleaning, or laundry assistance (preferred but not essential).
