Housekeeper

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Housekeeper to join our client’s team in Egham. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across a large, busy site, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, corridors, stairways, offices, communal areas, meeting rooms, fitness facilities, theatres, classrooms and residential accommodation.
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, polishing, vacuuming, mopping, emptying bins, and cleaning windows and paintwork.
• Carry out deep cleans during scheduled shutdowns or quieter periods.
• Assist with event set‑up and post‑event clean‑up as required.
• Follow departmental procedures, cleaning schedules and health‑and‑safety guidelines, including COSHH training.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude and strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping (offices, hotels, care environments, hospitals, etc.).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to complete pre‑employment checks and mandatory training.

Required skills

• Annual salary of £24,322.
