Housekeeper – Luxury Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our luxury care home, Bateman House Care Home, in Uttoxeter. You will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for our residents, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation throughout the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to the highest standards.
• Wash, press, and fold residents’ personal clothing and bedding with meticulous attention to detail.
• Inspect all surfaces and furnishings, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Manage linen inventory and ensure timely replenishment.
• Work collaboratively with the care team to support a person‑centred environment.
• Follow rota schedules, including weekend shifts, to guarantee continuous coverage.

Required profile

• Proactive, passionate, and ambitious attitude.
• Friendly and caring demeanor with the ability to engage with residents and families.
• Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
• Understanding of the care sector is advantageous.
