Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at The Edinburgh Grand, a Luxury Collection hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. You will ensure guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, creating a welcoming environment that reflects our high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, dust, vacuum, and polish guest rooms and public spaces to a guest‑ready standard.
• Change linens, make beds, and replenish towels and in‑room amenities.
• Report maintenance issues or missing items promptly.
• Assist with special guest requests such as extra beds or additional amenities.
• Collaborate closely with the front desk and maintenance teams to deliver a seamless guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong eye for detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members.
• Ability to work efficiently and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Team player who is flexible and willing to help wherever needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using standard housekeeping equipment (vacuum cleaners, polishing tools, etc.).
