About the role

An award‑winning, top‑tier law firm is seeking a Housing & Public Law Paralegal to join its London office. This role offers hands‑on experience on complex housing and public law cases, qualifying work experience for SQE candidates and a clear pathway to a training contract.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with case preparation and legal research
• Review and manage case documentation and evidence
• Complete legal aid and funding applications
• Liaise with clients, witnesses and third parties
• Attend court hearings and conferences
• Support billing and financial administration
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met
• Provide general legal and administrative support to the team

Required profile

• Law degree or postgraduate legal qualification
• Motivated and organised with genuine interest in housing and public law
• Strong legal research and document analysis abilities
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proactive approach with strong attention to detail
• Excellent client care and administrative skills
