HR Assistant – Public Sector (Edinburgh)

About the role
Join a respected public sector organisation in Edinburgh as an HR Assistant, working on a hybrid basis. You will be part of a collaborative HR team, supporting the full employee life‑cycle and contributing to a supportive workplace culture.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice on HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee‑relations case work and resolve queries.
- Handle HR data entry, administration and reporting tasks.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records using HR systems.
Required profile
- Proven experience in an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator role.
- Generalist HR experience covering the full employee life‑cycle.
- Competent use of HR information systems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
