HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join a fast‑growing FMCG business in Milton Keynes. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage the full HR remit, balancing day‑to‑day administration with strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding, contracts, right‑to‑work checks and holiday accrual.
• Maintain confidential employee records, including training and medical questionnaires.
• Advise managers on HR best practice and support performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
• Handle employee relations matters such as sickness, maternity/paternity leave, bereavement and other individual cases.
• Develop and implement HR policies to ensure lawful and ethical people management.
• Contribute to shaping a positive culture alongside the senior leadership team.
• Oversee recruitment, manage hiring budgets and support hiring managers.
• Deliver training and development initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering HR services in a fast‑paced, growing organisation.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities to juggle admin tasks and strategic projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of UK HR legislation and best practice.
• Ability to communicate confidently with managers and employees on HR matters.
• Experience managing budgets for recruitment advertising and agency usage.
