HR Business Partner - R&D Development Operations

About the role

GSK is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the Global Human Resources team supporting the Development Operations organisation. You will work closely with senior leaders to shape people strategies that enable innovative clinical development, data‑driven decision‑making and AI‑enabled ways of working.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to Development Operations leaders, translating business priorities into people strategies.
• Lead organisational effectiveness and change initiatives aligned with GSK’s strategic priorities.
• Provide workforce, talent and organisational insights to inform decision‑making and identify opportunities.
• Coach senior leaders on organisational design, workforce planning, team effectiveness and people strategy.
• Drive talent reviews, succession planning and capability development to ensure future workforce readiness.
• Partner with Talent and Capability teams to attract, retain and develop diverse talent.
• Ensure compliance with HR policies and proactively manage people‑related risks.
• Champion an inclusive, high‑performing culture that promotes innovation, engagement and psychological safety.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in HR business partnering, HR generalist or HR operations roles.
• Proven experience supporting senior leaders in leadership development, talent management, performance management and employee engagement.
