HR Business Partner – Retail

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join the People team of a fast‑growing retail business. Based at our head office in Twickenham, you will work closely with senior leaders to shape a high‑performing, people‑focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders across head‑office functions, providing commercially‑focused HR advice and support.
• Coach and guide managers through the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to exit.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels and act as a strategic advisor.
• Support organisational change, engagement initiatives and people‑related projects.
• Use people data and insights to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with the wider People team to continuously improve HR processes.
• Handle employee‑relations matters with a balanced, pragmatic approach.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with corporate or head‑office functions.
• Confident relationship builder who can influence and challenge constructively.
• Strong employee‑relations knowledge and practical problem‑solving skills.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance people and business priorities.
• Ideally experience in a fast‑paced retail or consumer‑focused environment.
