HR Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a permanent HR Data Analyst to join our manufacturing site in Shirley, UK. The role will ensure the integrity, performance and optimisation of our HR information systems and provide data‑driven insights to support workforce planning and business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the HRIS database, including data entry, user access and system configuration.
• Develop and maintain reports, metrics and dashboards to support HR and business decisions.
• Analyse headcount, turnover, recruitment, absence and other people metrics to identify trends and forecast future needs.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on strategic workforce planning, organisational design and resource planning.
• Assist in creating data‑governance standards, definitions and reporting frameworks.
• Conduct regular data audits, troubleshooting and system testing to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Analyse and improve HR processes, workflows and system capabilities.
• Provide training and support to HR and other users on HRIS features.
• Maintain data privacy and security compliance with relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with IT to integrate HRIS with other business systems.
• Support long‑term HR data strategy, including migration, enhancements and continuous improvement.
