HR Generalist – Hybrid Role

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to join our UK HR team on a hybrid basis. Working closely with the UK HR Manager, you will support a multi‑site manufacturing, sales and service business across the UK and Nordic regions, while developing your CIPD qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Review, update and maintain the UK HR policy and procedure framework to ensure compliance with current employment legislation.
• Develop and maintain manager guidance tool‑kits for consistent people management.
• Ensure HR templates, letters and processes are accurate, consistent and legally compliant.
• Audit and improve GDPR processes for HR documentation collection, storage and deletion.
• Provide day‑to‑day administrative support for the UK HR function.
• Offer HR advice to managers and employees on a range of issues.
• Lead projects such as new policy creation, process improvement and training initiatives.

Required profile

• Experience in HR within a multi‑site or manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and GDPR requirements.
• Ability to develop clear policies, procedures and guidance documents.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Motivation to progress through CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualifications.
