HR Manager – Hospitality

About the role

Aqua Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its diverse portfolio of restaurants and bars across major global cities. Based in London, you will work from the Support Office on Borough High Street and visit selected Aqua venues to ensure a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Coach and support restaurant managers on employee relations, performance management and turnover reduction.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation.
• Lead initiatives for career development, performance reviews, and talent retention.
• Manage a Junior HR Manager who reports directly to you.
• Collaborate with the HR Director and a team of six HR professionals to drive strategic HR projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a managerial HR role, preferably within hospitality or retail.
• Ability to handle complex employee‑relations issues and large, diverse teams.
• Strong coaching and communication skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
