HR & Payroll Coordinator

About the role

GXO Logistics is seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to deliver first‑class payroll and HR services across its South East England sites. Based in Thatcham, you will support employees in Thatcham, Southampton and Fareham, ensuring accurate pay and smooth HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes, including time‑and‑attendance systems, ADP payroll, holiday bookings, absence management and payroll reporting.
• Support the full employee lifecycle – recruitment administration, onboarding, contracts, referencing, probation and leaver administration.
• Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, trackers and reports in line with GDPR and audit requirements.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers on payroll, HR policies, benefits, absence management and general queries.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR & Payroll role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and Time & Attendance platforms.
• CIPD Level 3 (or working towards) and/or CIPP qualification (or working towards).
• Excellent communication, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
