HR & Talent Partner (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role

Reed.co.uk is seeking a part‑time HR & Talent Partner to join its People Team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. Working 20‑22 hours per week, you will provide hands‑on HR and recruitment support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring a smooth experience from onboarding to offboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering timely advice to employees and managers.
• Manage core HR processes including onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, employee‑relations matters and off‑boarding activities.
• Conduct exit interviews, analyse feedback and report on HR trends.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with policies and legislation, and monitor mandatory training completion.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and people programmes.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment: job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling and recruitment administration.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, maintain talent pipelines and deliver a positive candidate experience.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide regular progress reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an HR Advisor, HR Partner, Talent Partner or similar role.
• Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding and employee‑relations activities.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
