HSE Admin/Coordinator

About the role

The role supports the HSEQ and Operations teams on a part‑time, temporary basis, working three days a week at the Blackpool site. You will be responsible for maintaining health, safety, environment and quality documentation across multiple construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Compile project health and safety documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, fire risk assessments and RAMS.
• Prepare safe systems of work and risk assessments for bespoke activities.
• Print, collate and ready H&S site files for each project start.
• Produce O&M manuals and manage sub‑contractor certification for building control sign‑off.
• Process pre‑qualification applications and issue permits via management portals.
• Apply for council permits for temporary structures where required.
• Update inspection logs and coordinate H&S site inspections.
• Liaise with the Operations team on H&S requests and chase toolbox talk submissions.
• Monitor the SHEQ mailbox and conduct workshop inspections at head office.

Required profile

• Previous administrative or coordination experience, preferably in construction or HSEQ environments.
• Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and a proactive approach.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with document management systems.

What we offer

• Temporary, part‑time contract (3 days per week) with a competitive hourly rate of £15.69‑£19.05.
