HSQE Advisor & Administrator

About the role

The HSQE Advisor & Administrator will support the Service Engineering division of a growing engineering services organisation in the UK. Working on‑site in Colnbrook, you will ensure that health, safety, quality and environmental standards are consistently applied across all projects and sites.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HSQE guidance to engineering teams and wider business functions.
• Prepare, review and maintain Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Maintain HSQE logs, records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate training schedules, PAT testing and tool calibration programmes.
• Monitor current HSQE legislation and advise on compliance.
• Conduct on‑site safety and quality audits for employees and subcontractors.
• Support environmental reporting, including carbon‑footprint tracking and waste data submission.
• Assist with general office and administrative tasks as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a health & safety‑focused role, preferably within engineering or service environments.
• Strong understanding of HSQE processes and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage documentation and compliance records effectively.
• Confidence conducting site inspections and audits.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence – essential.
• At least five years of traceable work or education history.
