Human Resources Onboarding Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Human Resources Onboarding Officer to join our Platinum Investors in People HR team. You will support the Head of People and the Performance Team by guiding new starters through their probationary period and ensuring a smooth transition into the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the onboarding process for all new employees.
• Collaborate with line managers to ensure new starters receive appropriate support and training.
• Monitor probationary progress and report on performance standards.
• Maintain accurate onboarding records and documentation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for new employees during their first months.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a keen interest in HR.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work confidently with employees and managers at all levels.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Word.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook.
